The Light of Truth: Richard Hunt’s Monument to Ida B. Wells In-Person
Please join us on Thursday, February 6, at 5:30pm in the John C. Guyon Auditorium for a special screening of The Light of Truth: Richard Hunt’s Monument to Ida B. Wells. Rana Segal and Laura Little, the two creators of this documentary, will be on hand to discuss their film about how the monument, one of only two dedicated to an Illinois woman, came about after 13 years of planning.
In addition to the film, an exhibition of selected Richard Hunt lithographs and drawings from the Sharp Museum collection will be on display throughout February in celebration of Black History Month.
