Delta Award Presentation: Honoring Wayne T. Pitard In-Person
Join us in presenting the 2024 Delta Award to Wayne T. Pitard on Tuesday, November 12, starting at 5pm in the John C. Guyon auditorium in Morris Library. A reception will follow at 6pm.
The Friends of Morris Library selected Mr. Pitard for the award for his research and writing on Illinois history, especially his recent book, Watchman, Tell Us: John J. Bird and Black Politics in Post-Civil War Illinois.
