Exploring Xenolinguistics In-Person

Join us for a workshop on xenolinguistics, the study of languages from alien species, at the Sharp Museum auditorium on November 9, 2024, starting at 9am.

The event, titled "Exploring Xenolinguistics: Next Steps in Exploring the Nature of Language and the Potential of Extraterrestrial Communication," features keynote talks from Dr. Irene Pepperberg of Boston University, a leading expert in animal communication and cognition, and Dr. Matthew Brown of Southern Illinois University, a noted scholar on the philosophy of science.

The workshop is free to all campus and community members.
